Playmaker Bloom SPV Pty Ltd Productions and the STAN Network are currently filming a new series called “Bloom” and are intending to film the opening scene within the Bowling Green and Rose Garden courtyards of Wilsmere, Friday, 7th September from approximately 8:30am until 12noon.
"Bloom" is a 6 part series of which Clunes is the hero location. This series stars Bryan Brown, Jackie Weaver, Ryan Corr, Terry Norris and Anne Charleston amongst an impressive ensemble cast. There will be a small crew filming one of our characters “performing in a period TV drama”, bidding farewell to her beau, a “Naval Officer” heading off to War. The actors will be dressed in period costume and we will have extras in the background. The crew will ensure there is access for residents at all times and safe passage past the filming location.
