CCTV cameras operate in various common area locations around Willsmere, including the main entrance, car parks outside Gates 1 and 2, inside the gym and library, on the exterior of the gym facing the pool, and at the "basketball court" gate. Their purpose is to increase security, safety, and preservation of property. None of these record voice, or have vision within private lots. Recognising the utmost importance of privacy balanced with the need to use footage to investigate incidents, a formal policy has been adopted governing the use of these CCTVs which can be found here.
