We have a number of common area lights out at the moment due to cable breaks. This is caused mainly by ground movement and poor quality of the initial installation.
Some of these breaks were not complete breaks which is why we are seeing intermittent failures of the lights. These are not easy faults to fix but they are being worked on as fast as possible.
There was also a fault in one of the daylight sensors, which has now been replaced and we are looking into replacing all the others to avoid this fault again. The sensors are now around 25years old so they have lived a good life.
It's unfortunate we have had a few lighting faults at the same time with different causes, but that is what makes life at Willsmere interesting.
