The first meeting of the Willsmere Garden Volunteer Group will be held in the Library on Tuesday the 12th of November between 7.00 – 8.30pm.
Interested participants are invited to join this group with the aim to help improve the quality and beauty of our gardens at Willsmere.
Agenda topics include:
- Clarifying our aim / purpose
- Determining our focus and activities, the parameters of our involvement and the name of our group
- Electing a committee
- To ensure there is an organising group to maintain activities and ensure accountability
- Registration of interested volunteers
- First project/s ideas
- Weeding blitz, herb garden maintenance / development?
- Main area contacts
- Designating a main contact in each area to ensure communication
- Procedures
- Document a process of which we use to propose projects to the COM for approval
